I live in Central New Jersey. I have been interested in the Democratic School Model since I read about Summerhill by Erich Fromm many many years ago. I was very excited to learn that such a school model exists in the United States while visiting friends in the region of the Sudbury School in Framingham, Ma. I am beginning to explore the beginning of a Sudbury Free School (and exploring the "HeartLight" approach) in the Ithaca, New York area.
